(: My Papyrus :)

Hey!!
Its time for the updates from my end. Couldn't think of writing abt anything specific so here goes....

1) Recession blues still continue... read in an online article that there would be a 7.5-8.5% increase in salary. Hopefully the ppl in my office read that article as well.

2) Someone I know lost their job but are making full use of the time they have. A tour of India!!! (I am so jealous)

3) The google bubble has finally burst for Sumitra. Took sometime but the fact has hit her that google is a boring place to work after you have worked with Dell and I have a valid reason to say that. Reason is that the evergy level that you feel on the floor is not the same anywhere in the world. You might be a software developer and all that but I am proud to say that I work alongside one of the smartest brains in the world. (Well considering the fact that we are the only ones in the world who support XPS on chat). I know how software developers work, take a code and manipulate it the way you want (Did that in NIIT).I am not saying they aren't smart but come on...

4)Have been having Sat-Sun offs for the second month running and it feels good to be back with the gang for night outs. Went to excess the last week, thought it would be a guys gang but found that there were 4 other girls who would join us. Guess who was the stag.... :D Entry was a lil expensive but it was fully worth it. Danced for the longest time possible and was not that drunk which means that I was able to fully enjoy it. Partied from 9:30pm-4:30am that night. Thankfully the girls who accompanied us were not big time peevat!! hence giving us a chance to have a good time.

5) Watched friends gettting married left/right and center in the last couple of months. Good that mom doesn't know any of them cos she would then get started about how I need to get married and all that. (Phew)

6) Office sucks as always... Politics, politics and more politics. I got a new mentee assigned so now its upto me to teach her the tricks of the trade in the office. Its called as "Extra Initiative" by the management :)

yeah that's the update from my side... Its been a fun few weeks lately. Let's hope they continue. :)
